The Horizon landscape light housing is made of a high durability polycarbonate specially formulated for outdoor use. This material incorporates a UV light blocking stabilizer that prevents fading or brittleness from sun exposure. light engine is hermetically encapsulated in medical grade silicone epoxy for superior durability in all weather conditions. The light engine features a high efficiency Cree LED mounted on a thermally conductive circuit board for maximum LED lifespan and performance. The Horizon’s unique design makes replacing a burn (burnt) out light engine a snap—quite literally, being the first step light in the industry to feature snap in light engine so there’s no need to remove concrete or set pavers to retrieve wire or fiddle with screws or fasteners in light spaces. The Horizon is UL certified and has an IP-68 rating against water protection.
