What is the issue?
Compressor Doesn’t Run
- Check voltage, is it plugged in, check cord for damage, do we have power
Fan Doesn’t Run
- Check power, is their cord damage
Noisy
- Have you completed annual maintenance, does your filter needs replacement, shaft endplay, what is the condition of the area around the unit, is it bolted down, animals living in it, did the valve pop off
No Bubbles
- Is it dirty, when was last maintenance, diffuser/filter condition, have you checked condition of diffuser, condition of air lines (cracks/leaks), clogged diffuser
Powerunits
What is the issue?Noisy
-> is it in the water, is their cavitation, blockage in the cage, is it the impeller or impeller housing, is their debris
-> out of the water, is their interference, oil leakage, cracks in the fountain
Doesn’t Run
- Is voltage coming in/out of panel, input voltage, is the breaker tripped, timer on/off, capacitor, overload, cable broken
Trips Breaker/ Overload
- Determining cause (ground fault/overload), Megtest, AmpClamp (on breaker)
Reduced Pattern
- Screen cleanliness, pond cleanliness, damage, when was it serviced last, obstruction, date of occurrence

- Dirty lenses, loose wire, water in can, broken seal
No Light
- No power, fuse blown, GFI Tripped, is the timer on, is their water in the can, are the wires damaged, dirty lens, is the can damaged
Trips Breaker
- Water in the can, damaged cables, bad GFI/ Breaker
